    About Vocational Programmes

The Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) is a three-year undergraduate degree introduced by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2013. It is open to students who have completed their 12th standard or equivalent and offers flexible multiple entry and exit points. Students who exit after the first year are awarded a Diploma, after the second year an Advanced Diploma, and after completing three years, a B.Voc. degree. This structure allows learners to pursue education at their own pace while gaining recognized qualifications at each stage.

B.Voc. programs are designed with a strong focus on practical skills and industry exposure. Developed in consultation with employers, the curriculum emphasizes hands-on training, real-world applications, and workplace readiness, making graduates highly employable.
